Since I can remember, I have had a keen intuition and strong relationship with God and Spirit. My parents taught me early on that absolutely everything is divinely planned. After surviving Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and struggling with the loss of my best friend and two partners in the years that followed, my path started to darken. I found myself self-medicating with drugs and alcohol. I turned my full attention to singing and acting. It was the easiest for me to filter through my experience on stage. In 2019, while I was on the national tour of a musical, I realized that I couldn’t ignore the insight I was getting about everyone around me, and I couldn’t cope the way I did when I was younger, for the sake of my body and mind. I was starting to take on the feelings of everyone’s anxiety, joy, grief, anger, all of it. I knew I was empathetic, but this was something different. I even expressed to my mom that I thought I was experiencing psychosis. I prayed, and sang, and prayed some more. Finally, through divine guidance I realized, I was being called to help through tarot, intuition, and yoga. I tested my intuition on the people around me and when I realized that I could intuit, I had my answer. I started using my tarot, intuition, crystals, and mantra singing to heal myself and those are the very same tools I will use with you.
